We have also run speed events and moots from Birmingham to Toronto—at the UK Animal Law Conference (May 2024) and the Canadian Animal Law Conference (September 2024).
The All-Star Sparks Moot Team
Since the start of 2024, our team has grown exponentially to meet the fast-growing needs of the organisation. As of November 2024, we now have c. 25 dedicated and talented animal advocates (some of the people featured in the video have completed their term, etc.) working relentlessly to help achieve animal personhood and rights.
In addition to the regular team members, we have a wide range of very high-profile activists, jurists, social scientists, and philosophers who have joined and will be joining our events to situate animal rights among international law. This includes two judges from the International Court of Justice (ICJ)!
